Jonathan Schwartz
Founder
Jonathan is the founder of PARTNER IN AGING. With more than a decade of experience serving older adults in San Diego, Jonathan is passionate about solving some of the dilemmas that inevitably come with aging. He founded Partner in Aging to vetted support services and reliable resources for retirement living. Jonathan's interest in the field of senior care began when his grandfather, at age 80, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. His experience led him to dedicate himself to work in the field of aging. Jonathan received a master’s degree from USC in Aging Services Management and has been featured locally in Del Mar Times, Encinitas Advocate, La Jolla Light. Jonathan frequently speaks at local colleges and universities on the topic of aging well.

Michael Leiderman
Senior Living Specialist
Michael is a Senior Living Specialist and former physical therapist who has worked with older adults for more than a decade. He is connected to more than 200 retirement communities and residential group homes in San Diego, and is passionate about helping families find a place where their loved one can not only live, but thrive. Michael is known in the community for his free monthly exercise class for seniors called "Move with Michael," for which he was honored as Del Mar Community Connection’s Volunteer of the Month.

Ellen Steinberg
Senior Living Specialist
Ellen is a Senior Living Specialist at Partner in Aging. She holds a Master's Degree in Dentistry and has extensive healthcare experience in both Moscow where she grew up, and San Diego where she has lived for the past 24 years. A longtime senior advocate, she is passionate about helping older adults and their families select the most appropriate living option for their particular needs. With a deep understanding of independent, assisted and memory care communities, she is able to provide personalized guidance to ensure clients receive tailored care regardless of their financial or health status.

Angela Garduno
Caregiving Coordinator
Angela is the Senior Care Specialist at Partner in Aging, responsible for overseeing a network of independent care providers and maintaining relationships with home care agency partners. She has extensive experience in skilled nursing and worked closely with caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nurse Assistants), nurses, and doctors to ensure the best care possible for families, particularly during the pandemic. Angela earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and worked for the American Lung Association to improve care for those with lung disease. She later became a Physical Therapist Assistant in North San Diego County, focusing primarily on helping seniors learn how to age healthily by increasing strength and balance. In turn, she thrives on learning from their experiences and stories they enjoy sharing with her.
