Dear Friends,
After 20 years of working with older adults, I’ve seen far too many people struggle through the hospital system alone. It seems as though there just aren’t enough doctors, nurses, or social workers to meet the growing need. And the reality is, patients who have an advocate tend to get better care.
About a year ago, a woman I cared deeply about texted me from her hospital bed around 3 AM: “I’m scared. I don’t know what to do.”
She had no emergency contact and no one local to support her. That moment stuck with me—and it’s what led to the creation of our Hospital Advocacy Program.
Since then, dozens of people have joined. For just $10/month, we provide:
- On-site hospital visits within 12 hours
- Help choosing the right nursing home or rehab facility
- Support transitioning safely back home or into senior living
- Advocacy every step of the way—with no extra charges during the time of need
- And most importantly, we serve as your experienced emergency contact
We’ve caught medication errors, ensured families were contacted, helped get second opinions, and made sure proper discharge plans were in place. Sometimes, it’s about being there to ask the right questions—or just to ask for a warm blanket, a glass of water, or someone to check in.
But here’s the catch—this only works if you’re enrolled before a hospitalization. Once you’re in the ER, it’s often too late to get things in place fast enough. So, please sign up today and don’t put this off till tomorrow.
If you, a loved one, a friend, or a neighbor could benefit from expert support, I’d be so grateful if you’d pass this along. We’ve made it easy to join, and we stay connected—hosting quarterly check-in calls or in-person visits to keep up with our members’ health changes.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. I’m always happy to talk.
All my very best,
Jonathan
